Mawster
You are the treasure chest. Adventurers keep coming. Eat them.
Mawster is an idle game set deep in a forsaken dungeon, where the loot is the monster. Chomp for gold, lay out lures to bring more fools in, and grow a hoard that buys stranger and stranger things.
What's inside
- Chomp the chest (click, tap or Space) for gold, then spend it on 18 kinds of lure, from a Decoy Coin Pile to the Infinite Maw, and on upgrades that never run out.
- Adventurers come to rob you: knights, mages and rogues steal your gold and bite back. Chomp them before they get away.
- Hire a goblin crew (knife goblins, archers, warriors and a goblin riding a chicken) to fight at your side.
- The King's Guard, their mounted captain and Vharkaz the Ashen Wyrm come for the hoard.
- Travel to five places, from the Catacombs to the Gilded Hoard, each with a rule of its own.
- Evolve for souls and start again stronger. Take on odd jobs. Earn 129 deeds.
- Dress your chest in the Wardrobe: skins, eyes, hats, torch flames and your own banners, and hats for your goblins.
- Strangers wander past. Spare them, or don't.
- Once you have evolved, the hoard keeps earning while you are away.
- Three separate save runs.
Controls
Click the chest (or press Space) to chomp, click foes to hit them. The panel on the right is the shop (H folds it away). Esc opens the settings. Mouse, keyboard, controller and touch all work.
Your saves live in your browser: clearing this site's data deletes them.

The game feels... very slow. Maybe it's just me who's buying the wrong things but I feel like I'm making no progress. I don't think I'll be able to even prestige once.
Also, could you change where you can change the location for name change, location change, and whether to show passive/click gain? I can't tell you how many times I tried to click the bat and ended up opening that menu and completely miss it. It feels malicious in its placement (which I doubt it's true since, bat aside, it's a very on theme location to place them. it's just that it doesn't mesh well with the gameplay)
Wish this had a way to export/backup save data. Seems too easy to lose data for a game with this kind of time investment (plus no clear way to transfer to another computer).
That will be in the next upload :) thank you!
